The whole thing needs gutting and starting again. I believe the walls are a very old Seratone or laminate of some sort, the ceiling is a product similar to Michaelangelo tiles but has falling-off textured paint on it, one corner has had a leak at some point, so the ceiling is bowed, and the floor could well need some work doing - skirting board is lifting away from the wall near where the leak is and the wall and floor seems a bit dodgy. The vent pipe for the toilet needs to be removed (and therefore the hole in the roof fixed) and vented outside. It needs the washing machine moved and a cupboard built to house it, the shower needs to be moved, an actual vanity would be nice, and a new toilet suite. All the plumbing (except the toilet) is on one wall, and the new design keeps everything along that wall. We can do the demo and prep work, and the painting and decor stuff, but have no knowledge of walls, ceilings, plumbing and so forth. We can provide the goods (i.e.toilet suite, shower box etc). So the quote would be for the actual building, roof and plumbing work, and will need a sparky to shift the power point ('cos it's where the shower will go). I can provide a scale drawing of the plans if required. Just needing a quote or two at this point - will take a while to save up enough I think.
