Adding new ensuite to master bedroom

We are wanting to see if it’s possible to add a small ensuite to our master bedroom. I think the size would be approximately 1m x 2.8 and we would be using the existing built in wardrobe recess for part of that space and extending out into the bedroom for the rest. We would also need to move/add back the wardrobe onto another wall (looking at doing it this way to keep the bedroom as big as possible). No idea what’s required in terms of permits etc but would be wanting to do the work sooner rather than later if it is doable and affordable for us.
