There are three areas I want to alter in my house which is a 1930s, 2-story house on piles. It was relocated to it's current location in 2008 and had new foundations done at the time. I have a few drawings and the geo tech report from when the house was relocated. I am looking for a structural engineer to look into the loading and bracing requirements of the proposed changes and to provide drawings / details required for my council consent application. I will have an architect and plumber cover their areas of work. 1) Relocate the kitchen to another room which requires a wall to be removed. 2) Open up the dining / lounge wall and leave 1.2m wingwalls at either side 3) remove one wall of a stairwell I have attached marked-up drawings to highlight the changes.
