Removal of shower and installing shower over bath
Job description
We have a shower room which we have been advised is leaking. I am looking for quotes to remove this shower and assess any damage caused by the leak, then the plan is to turn the small shower room into a cupboard. In the bathroom next to the shower room is a bath but no shower. Would like to install shower over the bath in this room,and would be interested in professional opinion regarding options of possibly installing a separate shower in the bathroom either as well as or instead of over the bath. Also need to install an extractor fan in the bathroom plus another extractor fan in a different bathroom upstairs.

Work was done to a good standard, however builder suggested that we do additional work to that quoted without informing us that it was not included in the quote provided. No communication throughout the job until it had been completed when he informed us we owed him almost a grand extra and told us "we should have expected it to cost more" despite not discussing additional costing with us at any point. Will not be using again.

"Client accepted supplied quote for works, outlining what was covered within quote. Prior to commencement, client changed scope of works for the tiler & electrician - without notifying us. On arrival to site, client advised of changes to scope & requested professional opinion; tile a section of room v's whole room. Quote was already accepted to tile 'section' of room, so additional work to tile whole room & change to other sub trades scope - increase to final cost should come as no surprise."
