Full Kitchen replacement
Job description
We are looking for a new kitchen to be installed in our Family Home in Greenhithe Auckland. We have been working through the design choices and product selection for quite some time now, and are pretty damn confident that we have all of the choices, both around products layouts and style etc. The kitchen consists of two components, a 4700 long back wall, with Fridge, Pantry, microwave space and oven, and a 2600 Island with Sink(s) and Dishwasher. We have measurements (I’m sure you’ll want your own to be sure), but are willing to share our designs / plans. The style of door / panel that has been selected is Dezignatek “Rhonda” which is in their “series 3” range. We have also selected a Granite bench top, and can show samples and or provide contacts, but it’s this or something very similar we’re after. There will be a requirement for an “undercut” sink / sinks. We are likely to want to leverage some of the more premium kitchen features, such as slide out coffee shelves, and integrated bins etc. All hardware used will need to be of a good standard, and soft close etc. The ceilings in the house are circa 2700, and we are looking for a kitchen and cupboards on the back wall to go to 2700 with an extra “bulkhead” and cornice finishing off the remaining space. We have had one quote for this already, but, this did not cover everything that I want it to, and left a fair amount of work and coordination for me to deal with. So, to be clear on this, and set out my expectations from the start, I am looking for the following; • Full removal and disposal of existing kitchen, including any other tradies required (such as gas fitters / plumbers / existing stone bench removal etc.) • Full installation of kitchen, and coordination with bench top folks. • Installation of all plumbing required (including water for fridge) • Installation of Oven (including Gas / Electrical work) • Installation of additional hardwood flooring (provided) where appliances are moving (oven / Fridge) • Full installation of new Range hood • Installation of false wall / bulkhead above the cabinetry, including cornice We will provide the following; • Appliances • Tap • Hardwood Flooring • Sink Essentially, I am looking for someone to take end to end ownership of this project, and deal with all of the coordination / hassle etc. I appreciate this is all quite prescriptive, but we have been around the traps on this one for quite a while, and know what we want at this stage. After a difficult start to our project, we decided to be more prescriptive with out approach. I wanted end to end delivery. Thomas and guys delivered that, and did a great job of it too. The work was top notch, great communication, suggestions, collaboration etc. Wouldn't hesitate to work with these guys again. We have already recommended them to a number of people. The finished product is exactly what my rather picky wife was after, and still 6 weeks onwards, she's raving about her new kitchen. Thomas and the guys at Haute Design really are top notch professionals!
