Leak in kitchen ceiling
Job description
We have a leak in our kitchen coming from the upstairs shower/bathroom or from a hole in a pipe. The leak is above kitchen cupboards in the corner and the distance between the top of the cupboard to the ceiling is about 170mm I am not sure how the leak can be found.I assume it will mean the removing the shower, possibly the tiles and under floor heating or removing the kitchen cupboards and then renovating. I don't think it will be covered by insurance but we have to get the leak fixed.

We discussed the two options of replacing the shower, either tiles or a unit and initially we were going to have tiles. However, when we got the tiles the supplier gave us the wrong size and didn't have the ones we liked. We then changed to a unit and Aaron took this all in his stride. We were having overseas guests and Aaron was very obliging in getting the work done even though it was close the Christmas. Job well done!
