Remove internal petition wall

We would like to remove the inner petition wall which we understand is non-load bearing (to be confirmed, but Signature Homes offer the same model house without the wall). The main issue will be dealing with electronics and moving the heat pump on the wall. The heat pump compressor is directly outside at the end of the petition wall, so we'd consider just putting it up on the main internal wall. Long term we're also considering putting in a fireplace, so that might influence where the heat pump unit goes.
