Replace bath with shower (and considering other renovations to bathroom also)
Job description
I currently have a shower over the bath situation. I have noticed seal issues near where the bath connects to the wall and am concerned that water is leaking into the wall behind. See pics. Really hoping it's not horrible behind the wall and that I've caught it early. I wanted to renovate my bathroom anyway but given the risk of water damage to the wall I'm now looking to do it sooner rather than later. My main job is to have the bath replaced with a shower cubicle. I have dux qest plumbing so want to change that while the walls in bathroom are exposed there too. The bathroom is about 2.55x2.1m ( i think). As i mentioned I intended to have the bathroom renovated anyway so am open to discussions about doing it all together. I don't need to have highly expensive fixtures and fancy renovations for a luxurious bathroom. I'm quite happy with the bathroom, i just need to upgrade the fixtures to be a bit more modern and more functional for me than it is now. I wan to change the sink and toilet. I would prefer a vanity type sink with a mixer tap (instead of separate hot/cold ones), storage cabinets at the bottom and mirror on wall above. Toilet - just a new modern one. - may need to consider changing placement of toilet and/or sink to work better with new fixtures and there will be more space on the side that the bath is on (once replaced with shower). Again - main job is changing bath to shower cubicle and prevent any (more) water damage. Hoping to get on to it ASAP. If that ends up being all I can get done due to budget/timing I'm happy with it. But I would be willing to get discuss and get other renos done altogether as my budget permits. My property shares water supply/pipes with other properties next to me so it would need to be a well planned and efficient job so that i'm not cutting water off for too long. I also want it to be done a quickly and efficiently as possible so that i'm not going with out a shower to use for too long.

Very satisfied with the outcome. Simon was always professional and good to work with. Good communication. There were some unexpected issues that arose, but Simon was reassuring that a solution could be sought. Overall, happy to have used Perry Homes for this job and would use again in future.
