New Bathroom
Job description
Need to convert our separate bathroom and toilet to one wet area (preparing for old age.) Wall between existing two rooms to come out, strip area back to studs, insulate, reline with aquiline, new wet area shower, new vanity, new toilet,repair wall between bathroom and hall, hang one new door to replace two originals. Associated plumbing and electrical work: we have a good plumber and sparky with whom we are existing customers.

Job took longer than anticipated when a subcontractor let New Vision down badly. Some quantity estimates were a bit off, some under, some over, but nothing that held up the job - overs were adjusted by crediting. There were minor glitches in internal communication between employees that led to work-arounds having to be discovered later. I'd be delighted to discuss these with Kieran on his final visit: if/when it takes place.
