Bath & Basin Install
Job description
Hey there, We're after a bath & basin to be installed, as well as some guidance on the DIY we'll undertake beforehand such as removing the original shower. We will purchase the bath, basin, and fittings, and we're planning on constructing a vanity for the basin to sit on. We're in need of the bath (free standing with one side attached to the wall) to be installed: waterproofed in, drainage and overflow plumbed, and separate tap & mixer plumbed into the wall. Additionally we're in need of the basin (not attached to the wall) installed: drainage and overflow, and separate tap & mixer plumbed into the wall. Finally, the taps and drainage for the current shower and basin may need to be plugged up and secured behind the wall. We'd like to meet before starting to get your guidance before we remove the current basin & shower. Photos provided are of the current state of the bathroom. Following our removal of the basin and shower, the bath will go in its place, with the basin in the currently empty corner alcove. Timeframes are as soon as available (following our purchase of the items and fittings), and where this work can be done safely under Covid guidelines. Note, we'll be getting a glazier to remove the window in the photos to bring the bath through, so we'll time this with all parties involved.
