I am after a plan on how i can turn a small hill on my driveway into an outdoor hobbit hole man cave. i am not planning on any mains electrical/plumbing , i will use 12v solar supply for lighting therefore hoping to avoid building consent as part of the advice. the advice/plan i am after is, i am looking to dig out the center of the hill, retain the sides, then build walls up (cinder blocks possibly as per other online designs i have seen) and arching roof to support grass again once complete And fill in dirt around. Or there maybe a better way. Im not after a complete finished design but simply the structural design that is water/drain/consent covered and basic steps to achieve this. i will be building this myself, so just paying for the plan.
