Double the deck!

We would like to extend our front deck and include a carport underneath. It is at least 2m high. We do not have plans or consent yet and would like to find a builder who works closely with a trusted draftsman and engineer, or find a company to do all three stages. We only want someone who is motivated, and will give us a genuine estimation of cost. We don't know the process well so are looking for someone to help us through every step. I want a definite price for the planning, the engineering, and the building. I understand that Council fees can vary and accept that. I've had two 'estimates' already for the job which have been over $10,000 different, neither with any genuine breakdown of what each step would cost. If you are organized and can provide a written breakdown of costs after viewing the job, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks
