Renovating and consenting a sleepout

Hello, I have an unconsented sleepout on my property that I am looking to have renovated and consented. It currently have power but Im not sure if its enough to run everything in the unit. I am also wanting to set up the bathroom and make a sliding door between the two spaces and potentially make the space bigger if that isn't too big of a job. I am not sure if I even need consent for this job or what the best way to approach it is so I am looking for advice and guidance on what I should best do also.
