We have recently had a new retaining wall built ( --- height). Council says it requires retroactive resource consent, partially because it's over 0.6m high (8.9.2.1 Permitted Activities: P1). Looking for advice on whether their point is reasonable (I can't imagine walls >0.6m requiring resource consent but not building consent?), and potentially help with putting together an application. Recent survey and contour plans are available.
