Amendment to approved plans to include a timber slatted deck

I recently built an extension to the rear of the single level existing house. I failed my final inspection because the plans do not show a timber deck which was also built. I require an amendment to be made to the consent documents to show the new timber slatted deck. Deck is under 1m high and is attached to the concrete slab and fully complies with building code regs. I can provide all documentation as well as asbuilt drawing of the deck. Would be grateful if amendment can be made ASAP. Regards Kurt
