Drainage Installation - Moisture under house
Job description
We have a rental property in Whangarei that has a dampness and drainage issue. - The driveway has been concreted in the past, leading to water running down the driveway and under the house. Along with down pipes with poor drainage, this has increased dampness in the house, and lead to a lot of moisture build-up in the structure of the house - A French drain (or multiple) under the house leading to a dry pit at the low corner (opposite side of property in photo) seems like the best course to me. However, am also happy to hear alternative suggestions - A moisture barrier may also be required - Timeframe is as soon as practical
