The moving laundry.

this job is in regards to my parents house my siblings and I are looking to do a full kitchen renovation to do this we need to start with moving the laundry room out so we can use the space for a butlers pantry. can we put the laundry room outdoors?? possibly a small covered area to house a washing machine and tub. this space will be under the carport on the other side(outside) of the current laundry room.
