Hi there! Our toilet is constantly refilling and will no longer flush. Usually when you flush the toilet there is some resistance in the buttons that you push against to get it to flush. There is no more resistance and they feel ‘loose’. Upon opening the toilet lid we noticed that the water wasn’t filling as high as it’s meant to in the cistern. Thus, it would never reach the float, to get the water to stop flowing. When we held the float with our hands the water stopped flowing. This suggests that it is not the float that is broken, but something in the middle piece (see photos). Thank you! We appreciate your help :)
