Investigate gurgling noise and remove in-home water filtration system
Job description
Note: We are about to go away on holiday returning October 10. Our home water pipes are making a gurgling noise as if water is moving through them, even when all taps are turned off. The noise is very noticeable in the bedrooms at night. I can't see any evidence of a leak around the house, but the noise stops if I turn off the water supply to the house at the water filter. I'm also looking to get the in-house water filter removed. It was installed by the previous owner, and we (hopefully) don't need it. Replacing it with a straight section of pipe and maybe a pressure reducing valve works for me but I’ll be happy with any suggested solution. Thank you!
