Faulty Dishwasher

We have a fault with our dishwasher, which caused our power to short circuit so we are unsure whether we need a electrician or a plumber. We believe it may be a leak, but would like someone to come and have a look to see if this is the case. We unplugged it from the back and are using it from a different plug.
