Shower repair / ? replacement

'Plastic' shower floor creaks under weight, sometimes quite loud 'crack' sounds and has tiny spider lines across the floor - just in one part, only only very small but I suspect have got a little worse over time. A friend suggested it may be due to the floor underneath not being stable or strong enough. There is no indication of any leak. Not sure what kind of repair is required for this!
