Toilet Renovation

We are wanting to do a small renovation of our toilet including replacing the toilet and the vinyl flooring with vinyl planking and fixing a small area of damaged wall under the toilet vent pipe. Before we get started with anything else we need a plumber to come in and look at our existing toilet and advise us what kind of modern toilet would fit best in the space with the existing plumbing or would require the least modifications (we currently have an old toilet which has a side vent going out the side into the wall). And then once we have purchased a new toilet and organised flooring to be replaced we would need someone to take the old toilet out and install the new one once the floor is down. I realise this is a small job to take on but I'm hoping someone will be able to help us out. Thanks.
