Re-location of laundry

Currently my laundry is in front of front door. I want to move it to internal garage. I do not know if any necessary facility is already installed for laundry in the garage. I am wondering if pre-visiting the property is needed to advise me a quot. I hope this work to be done early October (4~7 October). Thank you
