Surface and roof drainage rework
Job description
Previous owners of our house built paving up very close to floor level. This has resulted in the floor rotting out. Whilst the floor has been replaced, we would like to add a strip drain to properly redirect the storm water from the patio area. Similarly, we need to redirect the storm water from the lower patio area into a strip drain to avoid the current flow of water into the area under the house. The strip drains could be connected into the main stormwater drain if the falls work out. The guttering could also use some attention. It is pretty clear from debris, but regulalry overflows. This has resulted in some bargeboards etc rotting out so we are keen to get this fixed up. We are getting some other work done in the week of the 10th July, so being able to get the work done in this week would be great.

The Good Plumbing Co recently completed installation of a strip-drain network around areas of our house. This ended up being a complicated piece of work as new and unforeseeable problems kept popping up. Jonno did a great job keeping us informed of where things were up to and offering pragmatic solutions along the way. We are very happy with the end result and would recommend his services to anyone.
