Plumbing - Underhouse, connect copper pipe to plastic pipe
Job description
Sharkbite fitting connecting plastic pipe to copper pipe has broken and is leaking hot water. Hot water (gas) has been turned off to stop further leaking + Sharkbite fitting removed. Am hoping somebody can install a new fitting between the two pipes, work is under the house so cramped/damp/wet condition. Parts below: (Not a plumber, so my best guess at the pipe measurements) Fitting = LEAP WM74688 AS2537 16mm X 15CUNZ DR Plastic Pipe = Likely LEAP PEX 16mm Copper Pipe = 15mm REECE's suggested the pictured fitting might work, but will require a plumber to crimp.
