Job description

Hot Water Cylinder Plumbing & Installation
Hurunui

Following the recent earthquake, my hot water cylinder is leaking from the bottom of the tank. I suspect it is an internal leak. I have isolated the water and electrical supply to the tank. The tank is quite old manufactured in 1960 and has a capacity of 30 gallons. It has a reg trade mark number of 32323. The tank has two connections from a wet back log fire which come from the left hand side as you are looking at it. The first connection is 230mm from the base and the second connection is 390mm from the base. Both of these connections are 50mm. The tank height is 1.125metres and the circumference of the tank is 1.7metres (approx). There is a bottom drain connection which is slightly off centre and electrical connections central to the bottom of the cylinder. There is a top connection which is central and has a 35mm connection. The tank is made by Zip Industries Ltd. Is there anyone out there who can help me to get a new cylinder and do the tank replacement? The wet back connections to the back of the log burner are also leaking due to the whole tank shifting sideways slightly.
