Replace toilet cistern (or toilet)

Replace the toilet cistern or the whole toilet. The cistern is made of plastic, the lid does not fit any more; is leaking in the toilet and also outside when overfilled. Would prefer something 21st century instead of this crazy design (and happy to increase the budget if it is worth it).
