Replace waste disposal unit #2

Our Robinhood waste disposal model SE390QA has stopped working and needs to be replaced. I’ve tried to get the exact model to replace it, but the closest model I can find is the Robinhood SE500QA. They look to be the same dimensions and have the same air switches, etc. Can the old model be replaced with the other model? If so, I will buy the SE500QA today. Installation can be done any day of the week.
