Having changed the toilet flush mechanism, I have created a leak in the cistern (where it "bolts" to the bowl base). Also the tap feeding the cistern needs replacing (have purchased a new one). Yes home handyman job gone wrong!. This is a small job, which would probably take someone (who knows what they're doing) less then an hour.
