Replace old shower cubicle with new.

Need to replace old ugly shower cubicle with new one including the base. It's a large space but we'd be fine with a smaller shower put in. We want to keep faucet and drain holes in same place and make it as simple as possible. Not sure if we need a plumber to replace the cubicle? We need it done by Dec 5th. Haven't bought new shower yet.
