Leaking bathroom taps / Shower Isolator Button

Attempts to remove the tap units on my bathroom sink have proved impossible for me, so seeking a plumber to remove the taps and replace the washers/jumpers etc. Possibly tap replacement is necessary. In my shower the isolator switch is fixed to shower, so the bath is filled from the shower head. Attention to this to allow use of the button would be helpful - but if replacement of the unit is necessary it may go unfixed.
