Slip drainage and sump pump for garden
Job description
Quote request: Slip drainage, filter, and sump pump for my property: I am looking for licensed drainage contractors to provide quote to deal with drainage issues on my property in Riccarton. I get flooding in the back of my property when there is more than 6 mm/hour of rain – example in photo 1: The bottom panel shows where it is worst and therefore where a drainage solution would help. The Christchurch City council’s drainage expert recommended slip drainage in that part of the garden I showed you, with a way to flow water into the city drainage system. They tell me it should have a filtered sump-pump attached so that I can have consistent filtered drainage to protect my property. From what I can tell, drainage would start along the fence at the far right new-wood post in image 2, And follow along the fence from there along the path photographed in images 3, 4, and 5, finally connecting to the drain in image 6. You can also see the property itself in this blueprint, focusing on the lower left hand side of the red area in image 7

Nick Gill did an excellent job installing a sump pump that is secured in the corner of my garden - it will help make sure that I do not have flooding in the corner of my yard anymore. It is discretely installed, and I also have a nice new outdoor plug that helps me with power washing my porch, cleaning my gutters, and keeping my windows clean. This makes all of my outdoor work life easier on this property while keeping water from accidentally getting into my house. I'm extremely happy!!
