Replace overflow from attic water tank

The old galvanised overflow pipe shown in the photos empties into the roof space!?! This causes water to drip through the roof when it overflows. It does not exit the roof to drip outside. I would like someone to replace this overflow pipe with one running outside, either into the guttering or dripping clear of the house. Its not a big job so happy for it to be done in the evenings or weekend if that is more convient for you.
