Shower fixtures

Hello, I just had gas hot water installed at my house, and my old shower fixtures aren’t up to the new pressure. I bought a slide shower head unit (an elementi mist slide shower) but the part that connects to the wall of the shower where the water comes out doesn’t match the existing pipe/thread (even though I took the existing head with me when I bought it). The first two pics are the existing shower head and the bit that it screws into. I also have an en-suite which has a shower head with mixer connected (the fourth pic) so I’m not sure what type of shower fixture I can put here (I’d love a slide one as the current one is too short for me). So I want to know if I can use the unit I have bought at all, and how much it will cost? And what solutions there are for the en-suite shower. Thanks Leeann
