repair broken outside water pipe for garden hose

I have a vertical pipe in the backyard, iron pipe I believe, which connects an underground pipe with city water to my garden hoses. When replacing the washers in the top tap, I rotated the vertical pipe and it is now broken at ground level. I need hose taps reconnected to the pipe in the ground. I have had to turn the water off to the entire house so I would appreciate if you can fix this on Monday the 18th.
