Replacement isolator valve at the house for water coming from town supply
Job description
I think I need a new isolator valve (or toby?) for the water supply to my house. There are 3 properties on the one supply line, with a single isolator valve for all three at the road frontage, and my home is the last on the line. a few years after the earthquakes I had a burst pipe on the upper floor and could not turn off the water without inconveniencing my neighbours… I had a plumber put in a toby on the inpipe at the back of the house but that now seems not to be working. I really need a new one and the access to it tidied up, before I have another event, There is no immediate hurry, but Murphy's law is likely to apply if I put this off for too long! Hope you can help.
