We started hearing a high-pitched hum/whine through the house a couple weeks ago and finally managed to track it down to the toilet stop valve. It happens after the cistern has refilled. We also occasionally find small puddles of water near the toilet. Probably not a great idea to leave it for too long! Would ideally like the work to be done within the next week. We have a 20-week old boy so, depending on how long it might take, it would be good to line up the work when he isn't napping if possible. Also bonus points if are able to help us get the air bubbles out of our water supply. We know our cloudy water clears right up after leaving it for a few second, but it's still off-putting for visitors, so if there's an easy fix, great! Google hasn't been much help at all in that category.
