Job description

Unblock Drains
Christchurch

We appear to have two blocked stormwater drains at our house. Our house is not connected to the street stormwater network, but has soak pits (we presume - no plans provided with house). One down pipe was overflowing over the gutter at roof level, and when we investigated it looked like there were roots in the drain. The whole area around the drain ponds when it rains. (see photo with bark surrounding the drain) The other downpipe off the garage overflows at ground level (see photo with concrete pavers). We also have a small gap in part of our guttering that we would like to get fixed (see photo). The two parts of the gutter have just come apart from each other and we can't get it back together.

They came in and did the work and I thought all was fine until I got a ring from a council contractor who had inspected the new sewer line and told me they had left 1m of broken pipe work adjacent to the council connection. Ie they didn’t take the new sewer relay all the way to the street (couldn’t be bothered relaying under hedge?). Also council guy told me sewer line had slumped /had a low point. NC drainage fixed it up and relayed the sewer but We wouldn’t have known if council didn’t check
