Improving Stromwater Drainage

We had a few near flooding events during the latest episodes of heavy rain in Auckland. We live down a steep driveway and we would like to improve our stormwater drainage capacity to keep our house safe for future events. Photos show existing drain inlets which get blocked with debris in heavy rain events. During recent rain blockage of the inlets were the main problem, capacity of the stormwater pipes seems to be ok. Perhaps installing more drain channels in front of the main door might help ?
