Shower Mixer leak + Slow draining kitchen sink

Just had a new shower mixer installed and the shower head as well as the mixer itself have water coming out. The installer is denying responsibility so I’ve no choice but to repair. Also found the kitchen sink with freshly installed plumbing is not draining under normal use. When filling the sink it drains quickly however with a normal water stream from empty it doesn’t drain.
