Leak from ceiling repair
Job description
I was at home and the smoke detector went off. I took a look and there was no fire but there was water leaking from the smoke detector. I took it off and could see water had accumulated around the area forming bubbles in the paint. See photos. There seems to be a very small leak from the ceiling, probably from a pipe going or coming from the bathroom upstairs. I need a plumber to detect source of water and repair it.

Peter was very quick in replying to the ad and gave a quote for the job. Quote was reasonable and he stuck to it. He was on the job with his mate the following day. The leak appeared from the ceiling so they cut a piece to have a look. In hindsight, cutting the ceiling was not necessary as the leak was from the bathroom upstairs but that is probably what most people would have done. They did not fix ceiling but cut a piece of GIB to size for us to screw on when ceiling dry. We now need to paint.
