Our lawn has a very soggy patch. We had it all checked for leaky water pipes, all fine and needs a french drain laid in it for it to drain off. Distance is 8.8Metres, and good thing is it flows dowhill at a gradient of around 10%, so should be simple dig and lay. No trees in between, except at far end where drain is to emerge, and only minor obstacle is blue plastic water pipes to negotiate around for part of the distance, as you will see in the attached photo of the trench that's already been dug at the start hat we have to keep emptying buckets of water from. Seems an easy job seeing that the lawn slopes nicely to the trees section where I want the water to emerge, so happy to learn what this will cost (hopefully not that much)
