Hi There, I have 3 ceilings with textured covering which I would like plastered and painted. The covering is NOT asbestos as I've had it tested. It just needs scraped off and then skimmed over. In all 3 rooms there are cosmetic wooden beams that I would like 'tarted up'. I would like them to have a smooth finish so I wonder if they could be covered with gib and painted. Photos attached.
