Crack in ceiling

Looking to see if anyone is able to assist please, these are the notes I have - If it is just the plaster and not the jib it may well be able to be filled with a soft plaster mix. If it is getting loose on the jib and is starting to come off the ceiling it most likely will come off in bits. If you can get up and just see it if it feels tight on the ceiling by touch, then it should be ok to fill and paint. If the plaster feels loose then you will need a plaster to remove the loose plaster and redo it for you.
