Plaster walls

I have recently removed the wallpaper from our walls and the popcorn from the ceilings. Could you help in getting the walls ready for painting? There is 2 holes in the walls that need repairing and under the popcorn some of the ceiling boards have cracked. I'm happy to do the painting just need the walls readied.
