Job description

Interior plastering
North Shore

Following the heavy rain earlier this year, the following areas recieved flood damage a bedroom, rumpus room and laundry/bathroom and required the gib to be removed. This has now been replaced - most boards were cut to the first knog ie 800mm high - see photos for sample areas. Require the following lengths to be gib stopped: 1. 22.4m of vertical joins, and 2. 41.2m of horizontal joins. A couple of the wall around the stairs will need to be fully plastered to bring to the same level as the existing wall - see photo. I have most of a role of jointing tape available (see photos) but unlikely to be enough to cover the entire job. All other materials will need to be supplied. Ideally this job would be completed before the end of May and can be done any day of the week.

Dan did a fantastic job of gib stopping the gib I had put up to create a seamless finish on the walls. During the first day, Dan pointed out that I had done a couple of gib pieces incorrectly. Dan gave me options on how to fix it to ensure the gib stopping would last and not crack in a month or two. Whilst some previous comments had mentioned issues with language, this should not be a deterrent as I had no issues dealing with Dan and he arrived exactly when he said he would.
