Dry wall removal for storage space

I want to create additional storage underneath the staircase. This requires cutting into the dry wall and fitting out the space as well as installation of a door/frame. Space is located next to the garage entrance and opposite guest bathroom. Working space is limited and space optimisation for storage cabinet is desired. I have taken pictures of the wall from all angles. The door visible is the entrance to the garage. Last pictures shows the depth of the hollow space .
