Skimcoat required

Hi, We are looking to paint our kitchen, lounge, hallway and two bedrooms. We would like to get a quote on the cost to skimcoat these walls up to the standard required for painting. All surfaces have been previously wallpapers, and the wallpaper is still up in the bedrooms at this stage, however can be removed prior to quote. The kitchen may not require skimcoating prior to painting, but would like to get an opinion on that also. Thanks.
