Ceiling plastering and scotia

We need to get kitchen ceiling and part of hallway ceiling skim coated. Area is around 16.5 square metres. Part of the area has existing scotia which we would like extended around the rest of the room. Two options are either matching the existing scotia and filling in the gaps (length required around 16.7 metres) or replace existing scotia with new for the whole area (length required around 25.5 metres). After quotes at this stage but looking to get this done very soon.
