Small job for patch work

I had aluminum door installed and some of my outdoor fixtures had to be cut x2. There is some exposed polystyrene stuff exposed which needs to be covered and water proofed. I have been advised to get a plasterer to do it rather than try myself. It is a small job but really need it finished off properly.
